Life Management Training (LMT)

 

This community-based program provides one-on-one training and supports to youth and young families to accomplish their goals.

 

Training goals include:
  • Teaching and practicing self advocacy, communication and relationship skills
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Building support networks and identifying community resources
  • Skills related to living independently
  • Employment skills
  • Educating clients about lifestyle choices
  • Personal wellness

 

LMT Program Age/Eligibility:

Participants aged 15-21, inclusive, who require support in order to achieve their goals can apply. Children’s Services status is a requirement for this program.

 

Referrals:

Can be made by self-referral, social workers, schools, parents, youth shelters.
